Child Abuse Beginning in the Womb
In order for me to start this discussion, I must explain something from a personal experience while I was pregnant. I was physically abused by the father of my baby while I was pregnant. I was hospitalized and almost lost the baby (my daughter). I believe that when I was pregnant, this was not just abuse on myself but on my child as well. Later on when I had to fight for custody and tried to explain to the courts that this man was not only abusive to me, but to my daughter as well ever since she was in my womb, the courts said, it is not considered child abuse while my child is still in the womb. This disturbed me quite frankly and I would just like to open a discussion to see different points of view.
